Our AOM community has sadly lost one of its most passionate and knowledgeable leaders and teachers. Dr. Alan Uretz passed away on March 10, 2016. His young spirit and intelligent mind will be missed by so many. His knowledge enriched his students’ education beyond the classroom. Illinois Board of Acupuncture Meeting, May 16

Mark you calendar for the next Board of Acupuncture meeting! The next business meeting of the Illinois Board of Acupuncture is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on May 16, 2016 in the IDFPR Chicago office. The office is located on the 9th floor of the James R. Thompson Center, 100 West Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601. The first portion of the meeting is open to the general public.

Join ILaaom for our Annual Meeting on April 24th at PCOM (lunch provided for ILaaom members attending the meeting). An Ethics Class will be offered the same day and also free to ILaaom members.  10:00am-12:15 pm: First half of Ethics Class 12:15pm-2:30pm: ILaaom Annual Meeting and a light lunch for Members 2:30pm-4:45pm: Second half of Ethics Class $80 for non-members  $30 for students  Free to ILaaom members Registration coming soon!

Thank you to our ILaaom members and friends for coming out and celebrating 2016 Chinese New Year with ILaaom! We had a wonderful turnout and participation! The celebration was filled with an informative talk from guest speaker Dr. Yuan, delicious food, lovely live music, an exciting silent auction and raffle, and socializing with friends and colleagues!
