With ILaaom’s deepest sympathy and condolences

March 14, 2016

Our AOM community has sadly lost one of its most passionate and knowledgeable leaders and teachers. Dr. Alan Uretz passed away on March 10, 2016. His young spirit and intelligent mind will be missed by so many. His knowledge enriched his students’ education beyond the classroom.

Dr. Uretz was a teacher and supervisor at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine for close to 20 years. He advocated for the protection and advancement of our medicine and profession, leaving his mark on this path.

With our deepest sympathy, ILaaom’s thoughts and prayers are with all of Dr. Uretz’s family, loved ones, students, and patients.

“I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion. These three are your greatest treasures.” –Lao Tzu

Midwest College of Oriental Medicine will host a gathering for a celebration of Dr. Uretz’s life, good works, and wisdom. This celebration will be a potluck gathering at MCOM in Evanston on Saturday, March 19th at 6pm.
